District Intermediate Education

The District Intermediate Educational Office, Sangareddy District will look after the Intermediate Education affairs i.e., all Junior Colleges such as Admissions, Conduct of Examinations, Enquires, Conduct of Spot Valuation Camps and Feasibility for sanction of new colleges, shifting of colleges viability etc., Presently.

 

There are 151 Junior College on rolls in Sangareddy District. The breakup is as under:

Out of the total 151 Junior Colleges 141 Junior Colleges are functioning. There are Nil admissions/Not Functioning 10 Junior Colleges.

 

The Government will issue notification for sanction of new Junior Colleges in private sector. The management who wish to apply for establishment of new private unaided Junior Colleges is required to provide playground facility (2-00 Acres in rural area and 1-00 acre in urban area in single premises). They are also required to apply for the obtaining Fire Safety Certificate from Fire Safety Department. Colleges in urban area should provide parking area to an extent of 20% of the total built-up area i.e., 8000 sft. Such parking area has to be provided either in the college premises are within a distance of 100 meters there off. This rule will also be made applicable to the existing junior colleges by giving some time.

 

The colleges should not make admissions exceeding the sanctioned strength. If any college takes excess admissions they are liable for heavy penalties besides cancellation of affiliation. Shifting of college premises, change of college name without permission from the competent authority will be viewed very seriously.

 

Some of the Govt. Junior College is attached to Govt. High Schools/Degree Colleges. There are no Govt. Jr. Colleges in (09) Mandals of Sangareddy District i.e., 1. Ameenpur, 2. Gummadidalla, 3. Jharasangam, 4. Kandi, 5. Mogadampally, 6. Nagalgidda, 7. Raikode, 8. Sirgapur and 9. Vatpally.

 

All efforts are being made to have own buildings for all the Govt. Jr. Colleges in Sangareddy District except Govt. Jr. College, Manoor, the Govt. sanctioned the building for the Jr. College and it is under process.

FREE TEXT BOOK:

The Government of Telangana was supplying free text books to the poor students of Govt. Jr. Colleges in Sangareddy District.

 

 

FREE EDUCATION:

Earlier, the students had to pay the admission fee in Govt. Jr. Colleges; now the Govt. of Telangana has issued orders for free education in Govt. Jr. Colleges in Telangana State.
